Funny expression: avoir la chair de poule

When you feel cold, or afraid, or you feel a strong emotion

you may see some spots on your skin. 
In French you would say : j'ai la chair de poule. If you translate literally 

• j'ai la chair : I have the flesh
• la poule : the hen

So in French, litterally, you'd translate this expression saying : "I have the hen flesh"
