Apero - Dips to go with raw vegetables

Spring is there, and in France Apero is a must.
Let's make some delicious light dips to go with raw vegetables.

6 easy recipes, and so delicious. Choose some of them!

✅ Light dip with yogurt or "fromage blanc"
👉 1 yaourt nature ou 100 g de fromage blanc
👉 1 c. à café de moutarde - 1 tsp mustard
👉 1 c. à soupe de vinaigre - 1 table spoon vinegar
👉 Ciboulette, basilic, persil, estragon, menthe au choix - chives, basil, parsley, tarragon, mint, your choice
👉 ½ gousse d’ail - garlic clove
👉 ½ échalote - shallot
👉 Sel et poivre - salt and Pepper

✔️ Peel the garlic and the shallot, then chop them finely.

✔️ Chop the herbs.
✔️ In a bowl, mix the yogurt (or fromage blanc), mustard, vinegar, chopped herbs, garlic and shallots.
✔️ Season with salt and pepper and serve chilled.

✅ Light lemon dip
👉 2 yaourts natures - yogurt
👉 1 jus de citron - lemon juice
👉 1 échalote - shallot
👉 1 c. à café de moutarde forte - 1 tea spoon strong mustard
👉 ½ botte de ciboulette fraîche - bunch fresh chives
👉 Sel, poivre - salt, pepper
✔️ Peel and chop the shallot ; chop the chives
✔️ Mix the yogurts, the lemon juice, the strong mustard, the chives and the shallot.
✔️Season with salt and pepper and serve chilled.

👍To vary the flavors, replace the yellow lemon with a green one, the chives with coriander.

Light citrus sauce

👉 100 g de fromage blanc
👉 2 pamplemousses roses - "pink" grapefruits
👉 2 oranges non traitées - bio oranges
👉 2 citrons jaunes non traités - yellow bio lemons
👉 1 pincée de piment en poudre - pinch of chili powder
👉 1 pincée de sel - pinch of salt

✔️ Peel the zest of a lemon and grate it.
✔️ Squeeze the juice of the lemon, the oranges and the grapefruits
✔️ Pour the juices into a bowl, add the fromage blanc, lemon zest and chilli powder and stir well.
✔️ Season with salt and pepper and serve chilled.

✅ Light curry dip :

👉 100 g de fromage blanc
👉 1 c. à café de moutarde - tea spoon mustard
👉 1 c. à soupe de curry - soup spoon curry
👉 1 échalote - shallot
👉 Sel et poivre - salt, pepper

✔️ Peel and chop the shallot finely.
✔️ In a bowl, mix the le fromage blanc, the mustard, the curry and the shallot.
✔️ Season with salt and pepper and serve chilled.

✅ Light cocktail dip

👉 150 g de fromage blanc
👉 2 c. à soupe de ketchup - soup spoon
👉 1 jus de citron - lemon juice
👉 5 gouttes de tabasco - drops of tabasco
👉 Sel, poivre - salt, pepper

✔️ Mix in a bowl the fromage blanc, the ketchup, the tabasco (or 1 tea spoon of powder chillu ) and the lemon juice.
✔️ Season with salt and pepper and serve chilled.

✅ Light mayonnaise

👉 150 g de fromage blanc
👉 1 jaune d'œuf - egg yolk
👉 1 c. à café de moutarde forte - teap spoon strong mustard
👉 1 c. à café de vinaigre de vin ou de jus de citron - tea spoon wine vinegar or lemon juice
👉 Sel, poivre - salt, pepper

✔️ In a bowl, mix the fromage blanc and the egg yolk.
✔️ Add the strong mustard, and the vinegar or the lemon juice.
✔️ Mix with a whisk then salt and pepper.
